My score on The Politics Test :

Neo-Liberal
(You scored 59% Personal Liberty and 28% Economic Liberty!)

A neo-liberal believes in moderate government intervention on personal matters and moderate to high government intervention on economic matters. They believe in a social safety net or welfare state and try to balance personal liberty with safety or security. Some neo-liberals believe in more foreign intervention or war then most other leftists. Others are more like Centrist Democrats. More authoritarian-leaning Neo-liberals (such as personal 40/economic 30) are the result of a "fusion" between "old left" and "new right" tendencies.

My Interests

travel, music, art, history, politics, working out, playing guitar, poker, blackjack, nature, hiking. I'm currently really interested in ancient history because I've been watching the tv series ROME on HBO.

I'd like to meet:

friends, intellectuals, people i've lost touch with

Music:

The lastest cds I've bought are the new Beck album (so-so, a couple good songs), Fergie, a Johnny Cash best of, and Crunk Hits Volume II (I own Crunk Hits volume I and it is a great cd, destined to become a classic). I like everything from bluegrass to hip hop. Also I listen to independent radio. Since I just got a new computer, I have re-upload all my cds on to the computer so I can put them on my ipod. What a pain in the ass! But it gave me an idea for a post-bar project. I will go to the library and check out cds. Then I can upload them to my ipod. That's not stealing music, is it?? Oh well, I'm doing it anyway. Taking suggestions for cds to check out. Of course, it is limited by the selection of the marion county library.

Television:

Has anyone seen "Juvies" on MTV? I just saw a new episode. Reality tv is one of my guilty pleasures. The Sopranos, VH1, beavis and butthead, poker, ROME is awesome!!!

Books:

Now reading: Jake's notes for gift and estate tax, family law, commercial paper, and secured transactions. Also doing MBE practice questions when time allows. Oh, and because of my recent interest in ancient history, I decided to re-read Julius Caesar. Now that has inspired me to consider doing something that i've though about doing a couple of times in the past, which is to re-read some of the classic books I've read in the past, but only the one's I liked (In: Catcher in the Rye, Bell Jar, the good earth, tale of two cities. Out: the scarlet letter, a wrinkle in time. I can't remember too many more.)

Heroes:

I'm not sure right now, taking suggestions
