Mr. Orange *RECORDING*

Mr. Orange started writing songs at the end of august 2007. It's a three-headed rock/funk/pop band consisting of Vincent Oude Lansink playing guitar and arranging the vocals, Tobias Landman banging the drums and Sep Botermans playing the bass. When checking out our band you will hear quite a lot of variation in style when it comes to different songs, some a more hard-rock oriented, some have a classical funk feel, while the rest of the songs are more easy-going or even ballad-like. All bandmembers have played in other bands before Mr. Orange; Vincent had played guitar and arranged the vocals for a hard-rock/metal band called Chuck Norris, while Tobias and Sep (on the contrary) played in a hip-hop/funk band called The Essence. As you can see there are quite diverse musical backgrounds represented within the band, but when it comes to the music of Mr. Orange the most opposite genres; metal and hip-hop, are left out. The remaining genres; hard-rock and funk, are complemented by a (every now and then) singer-songwriter kind of approach to music by Vincent. This is what makes the three of us Mr. Orange. To avoid confusion we would like to say that Mr. Orange by no means refers to one of the characters in Resevoir Dogs, played by Tim Roth, but more so to Vincent's strong dislike in this particular kind of fruit.
