............Hi my name is James DuMont. I have been creating music since I was 13. I started doing hip-hop 8 years ago(when I was 16). It all came about from my first hip hop group "the Deadman Connection"( a name we stole from out of a Spiderman comic book)this group consisted of Duff Patrick, the Stranger, and I. Later we had another m.c. join us named Bogus B.. I self released my first full length album by the time I was 19 entitled " the St.Cloud Funk. This album was not a solo album though,oh no, this was an album from a group the Stranger & I formed called "Confrontation M.C.". C.M.C took on the forces with a dj and longtime friend Postures. As time moved on we got involved in a now non-existent St. Cloud group called the "Locals" and through this met a lot of great m.c.'s, Dj's, and beat makers. In 2004 I started workin with and producing lots of tracks for one of the m.c.'s from the Locals that goes by the name of Moose, it was good times. This was also the year I released my album "Paisty & Friends - I burned half of my money making this.." Well, 2005 came about and so did new things. This is when the Stranger, Duff Patrick, Rukiss and I formed "the Ones Known As". Then in early 2006 I released the follow up album " Paisty & Friends 2 - so give me yours".... and now is now.
