The band, formerly known as "Toxic Jade" (BBC pebble mill battle of the band winners),support to the likes of;shed 7,supergrass,dodgy,cornershop,domino bones!
Jade are
now reformed and focussing their energies on the more exciting sound worlds of piano/guitar music. With influences far and wide, the intension is to appeal to the many, but also to interest through the fusion of several types of music. Of particular importance to them is an attention to melody- avoiding the cheap hook, a groove-based rhythmic feel-without the feeling of monotony, and if you forgive the cliché, a bluesy feel to both the vocal and guitar figures, removed of their over-sentimentality.

games,adverts e.t.c,
and
writing the more mainstream poppier songs for other artists,we have a vast
catalogue of material from ballads to the rockier side of powerpop,which will appeal to the many
Fresh out of a recent studio session at Magic Gardens ,where likes of the twang,the editors,scott mathews,and kings of leon have worked,the band intends to promote their latest 3 songs.

They continue to play gigs whenever they can, with an attitude that has got them live venues and opportunities of all different kinds- aided it must be added by many crazy local folk without whose help it would be impossible and pointless.
jade,s live shows locally have led to a large local fan base with as many as 180 +folk showing up to hear the lads ,got to be seen and heard to appreciate
the professional side of the unsigned to date.
