Most of the female, not to mention the male population has a liking for jewellery. I would like to showcase the style of jewellery I enjoy creating, the Peruvian Weave style. In Peru we have always had great teachers of this technique, because it is an unchanged style that has been passed on from generation to generation for many centuries. So that you are able to familiarize yourselves, it is fairly similar to crochet. Although Peruvian Weave is a style that was not originally developed in Peru, but in Spain and Portugal, it was quickly taken to the Americas by the conquistadors (the europeans who came to colonize). This jewellery making technique was perfected in the cities of Huamanga, Ayacucho, and Huancayo Peru, where we adopted it and perfected the technique, turning it into out own, and making it the beautiful jewellery that we sell, recognized as one of the finest jewellery styles in the world!!
