About Me

Mission # 1: To review music, books, films and events.
Mission # 2: To inform people of music, events, novels and films that suck; and to also point people in the right direction as they are informed of music, events, novels and films that DON'T suck.
My Rating System:
1/10 - Not even worth your attention. If you can, throw this trash in a dumpster.
2/10 - This work is awful, and there was some effort, but it is blanketed by its atrocious attributes.
3/10 - This work bites the big one, but the artist tried to put in some effort. It's still not worth seeing.
4/10 - This is a "take it or leave it" kind of work, but leaning more towards the option of leaving it.
5/10 - Average. This work has no positive or negative attributes. Nothing makes this work stand out among other works.
6/10 - Okay. Has a few more positive qualities than negative ones, but still something not worth investing a lot of time in.
7/10 - Decent. Something definitely worth your time that has only a few negative or unattractive qualities.
8/10 - Good. Far more entertaining factors than unentertaining ones. The viewer/reader/listener is easily able to ignore any bad sides to this work because the crappy sides to it are few and far between.
9/10 - Great. This work is nearly flawless. It is worth your time and money to experience it. It also shows ingenuity, originality, and other fine qualities.
10/10 - Awesome. The work is completely flawless, with no bad sides to it. Worth buying, if possible. The work may even have a positive and eye-opening impact on your life.

Review of "Children of Men" (film)

In this writer's opinion there are really no good science fiction movies, save Planet of the Apes, Soylent Green, and a few others. What happens a lot of times is that a so-called sci-f...

Review of Ensiferum - "Victory Songs" (music)

Artist: Ensiferum Genre: Melodic death metal/folk metal One would think that a band's next album would be promising after six years, but with Ensiferum's "Victory Songs" this clearly isn't the case. A...

New Sketch Show that's worth mentioning

It's called "Human Giant," and it's on MTV (unfortunately), but the show is actually pretty good. It's a sketch comedy show that reminds this writer of the obscure styles of Upright Cit...

Vacancy - My psychic review

If you people think I'd actually pay money to see this Psycho rip off, then you must be crazy. But I'll bet I can predict how shitty it'll be. First off, we have Luke Wilson in a dramatic role. If you...

Review of "Blood Diamond" (film)

When first starts watching this movie, one cannot help but be interested in the premise of this film, which is about how villagers in Africa can become enslaved due to the diamond trade. Also, one can...

The legend of the shitty/weird Pizza Hut waiter (not really a review)

So yesterday afternoon, myself and my girlfriend decided to go to a Pizza Hut for a "stuft-crust" pizza. Now, as many of you probably know, Pizza Hut is one of the last franchise pizza places where yo...

To see the film on Youtube, click here This is a low-budget horror short by James Rolfe a.k.a. "The Angry Video Game Nerd," who is known throughout Youtube for his coarse and, more importantly, cynic...

Review of "Tenacious D in the Pick of Destiny" (film)

If you plan on watching this, thinking it will be like the mini-series TD had on HBO, think again. This was basically a mashing-together of all those episodes and stuff from their cd into one awful, b...

Review of "Grindhouse (Planet Terror/Death Proof)" (double feature film)

You could probably say that these two films are the best ones of 2007, but that isn't giving them enough credit. These masterpieces are probably the best movies of 2007-2009 until one of these directo...
