About Me

.. .. .... ....
.. I play bass, guitar, a little drums, I can do a little of everything, but am a master of none. I'm also a talk radio junkie!! I play in a Philly coverband called "Please Please Me". We cover songs that everyone knows and loves, so it's a guaranteed good time. Trust me when I say, that these guys rock and are alot of fun! Check out the band's songlist and schedule at: Please Please Me's MySpace!! ! Please Please Me's Website!! !
THIS IS THE FUNNIEST THING I HAVE EVER HEARD, EVER!
I've played in alot of different original bands: Cinatas, Atomic Thrust, Alpha Centauri, Phyrxshun, The Backyard Monsters, but the one I am most proud is Meaningless Tag. The band is no longer together but you can hear mp3's here: http://www.garageband.com/meaninglesstag (Thanks, Chris Amato, Phil Straka and Frank D'Aguanno for helping to give me some of the best years of my life.) In that band, I got to play hundreds of shows, record 3 CD's, play in clubs from NY to Panama City Beach FL, record at Pachyderm and Sonic studios, and open for The GoGo's, Eve 6, and Blessid Union of Souls and that I got play with "Paint Box" the best unsigned band that could have been...and may just be again! The coolest thing we did was win Sam Goody's "Bandemonium 2001" It was an unsigned band contest and we were picked from over 1000 bands nationwide. The whole experience was just unbelieveable!
Since 2003, I've been doing the "Live Jukebox" thing, which is an awesome experience. br>I draw alot of crap, I'll upload some of it sometime. I also love to mod and map video games. That shit is fun as hell, you have no idea! Anyone who gets paid to do that, no matter the salary, is truly rich!!!

My Interests

E-A-G-L-E-S! Chocolate Ice Cream Hershey's Kisses and COFFEE, and hence a bathroom stocked with TP. Playin' da bass geetar, drawing, writing, playing, mapping and modding video games, reading, collecting knives and swords or anything that can poke your eyes out, and I would like to learn to read music and learn theory but after all these years of playing guitar it's still as foreign to me as Swahili, and my greatest interest is watching the look on my son's face as he discovers the world around him...

Specifically: RATM, OLD VH, Chili Peppers, James Brown, Parliment, Al Dimeola, Jaco Pastorius, Pearl Jam, Sabbath (Thanks Frank DeHaven for this one!), Iron Maiden, 311, Led Zep, OLD Metallica, Vicious Rumors, Pantera, RUN DMC, Rush, Sugar Hill gang, Sly and the Family Stone....and to single out influences...Eddie VH, Geddy Lee, John Paul Jones, Jaco, Steve Harris, FLEA, Larry Graham, Bootsy Collins, Geezer Butler, and Clarence Horn, bass player for a local Philly band called "Paint Box" (currently rising from the grave), an awesome band and he is the best bass player that I have ever seen in my life! Check them out! My biggest musical influences were my Mom getting me to play guitar in the first place and having my great friend Ray Hankinson convince me to switch to bass. Heroes:

Mom and Dad!! My Creators...if I am to pray to anyone, it will be them. :) They gave me life, guided my ability to choose right from wrong, rewarded my good deeds and punished the bad, helped me time and again and again, and are always there when I need them and talk to them...(so, eh, sorry about the holes in the wall, and for accidentally boiling my fish!!) AMEN :)
