ROOT BEER BARRELS rock!

About Me

I was born in Long Beach, CA, graduated high school and college in Seattle, met my wife Jeanine, worked as a radio DJ at KCMU and KJET, and have written for all kinds of music rags. Moved to L.A. in the late '90s, worked for a couple of companies there in a "marketing capacity," and eventually made it back to Seattle. We now have a nice old house in Greenwood and a coupla real interesting dogs.

My Interests

I love punk rock 'n' roll; great guitar tone; great graphic design and writing; good scotch; smart, witty, humorous people; and I especially love my wife Jeanine. And my two little troublemakers, Cash and Ray.

I'd like to meet:

People who are still into good music, still like to go out and see good live bands, and who dig good movies, good drinks, and good talk. I'd also like to meet the person who would see GUNS & ROSSETTI and not have a smile on their face!

Music:

My favorite band of all time is THE DAMNED. My second favorite is GUNS & ROSSETTI, in which I play the role of "Marsh Bonfire II - Guitar/ Keys" (myspace.com/gunsrossetti). See my friends list for more of my faves...

Movies:

There Will Be Blood, The Assasination Of Jesse James By The Coward Robert Ford, Rushmore, The Big Lebowski, Monty Python and The Holy Grail, Raising Arizona, Rock 'N' Roll High School, Once Upon a Time in the West, The Godfather, Blame It On Ginger.

Television:

Coronation Street, Big Love, Extras, Deadwood, The Office UK, The Office US, Six Feet Under, Seinfeld, Green Acres, Get Smart, My Favorite Martian.

Books:

Biographies on rock stars and musicians, "Mojo" and "Shindig!" magazines, graphic design books with big purty pictures.

Heroes:

...is a six minute song by David Bowie. It usually has quotation marks around it like this: "Heroes"
