Here's a little about Keith: Born in Wilson,N.C.-lived in Nw Washington Dc for a couple of years...raised in Newark,N.J.was into break dancing'Electric Boogaloo"--Fresh Force was the group..with Kid Dynamite & Gusto and Rory of the movie beat street. My stage name "K-ski"(Kskee)'was called that because I wore Ski clothing during performances. After school joined the US Navy-was on the Uss Camden AOE-2 for 3 years out of Bremerton,Wa. transferred to USS Obannon DD987 out of Charleston S.C. the finish on the USS Barney DDG-6 out of Norfolk, VA. I was in Navigation "Navigator"
After Navy worked in the airline business Continental and at the same time joined the comedy world working with the man who really created DEF Comedy Jam..Mr.Bob Sumner..at the Time Bill Bellamy was fresh out of college and Bob was managing Bill when he was doing stand-up at Club 88 in East,Orange N.J. I was Bob's P.A....
Bill Bellamy at the time had landed a deal hosting on MTV as a VJ and Russel Simmons had offer from HBO to do Def Jam artist shows on HBO but Bob stated to Russell that in Jersey we had Black comedy strong at Club 88, Terminal D's and the Infamous "PEPPERMINT LOUNGE" so how about DEF COMEDY JAM" that was the beginning of a new era. I sort of eased my way into doing stand-up off and on... learned a lot from Bob on managing..my first big task was at Madison Square Garden "Def Jam All star Tour..hosted by Ricky Harris..it was bananas in 1995.
Moved back to Seattle and started the family life...promoted Club "Pier 70" on the water front which NBA superstar of the sonics then Gary Payton'(GP") sponsored our promotions and we also hosted an annual charity boat ride every september with NBA all stars... did that for about 3 years and when "Real World Seattle came to town which lived on the same Pier, which was 70 that was our last year of business. Great business relationship with now program director Eric Powers of KUBE 93..my dawg..what's up Eric..holding Sea-town down I see.
Moved to Portland,OR was a Manager at Oregon Hemotology & Oncology Associates "Medical Records" for a minute switched careers went to Enterprise Rent A Car'Carsales Division" for a few years..Moved to BK-Direct as a Program Director and started promoting parties and events and promoting for Flossin Magazine. Bar 71-did comedy 2 New Years in a row 2001 & 2002..Helped organize some events I hosted Rap Star DJ-Warren G's Album release Party which I have a clip of the video on this page..U know to name a few.."RED PARTY" RAWHIDE GIRLZZ" DIAMONDS ARE FOREVER PARTY"MEET THE FLEET"MASQUERADE BALL" & NEW YORK UNDERCOVER"....
Co-Created reality tv show "THE MAKING OF A MAGAZINE" most seen it on comcast cable network Click onto on demand and go to Flossin Tv..I appeared in about 6 episodes..some are on video in the video section on my page here on myspace.
