Their unique blend of Urban Style Rock and Rap is what makes Toxic Sunset stand apart from the rest. Founded in January of 2001, Toxic Sunset brings back true musicianship to todays music. Fronted by a talented lyricist/singer whose raps are full of substance and swagger, and backed by three equally talented musicians, Toxic Sunset stands in a class all its own. Their guitar riffs snarl, their bass lines groove, and they have one of the tightest and most versatile drummers in Fresno. Toxic Sunset is a refreshing departure from the manufactured, marketed, drum machine music permeating the airwaves today. During their short tenure together, Toxic Sunset have been able to write music, record, and play several venues in their home town. In the fall of 2003 their debut full length CD, A New Dawn, was released to excellent critical reviews, A New Dawn Toxic Sunset: High-energy mix of hard rock and rap, before Linkin Park met Jay-Z- Mike Osegueda, The Fresno Bee, and rabid fan anticipation. Their live shows are full of unbridled energy with each member bringing his own unique energy to the stage.
