2007 is the Chinese Year Of The Pig. It's also the year a pool was built inside Rod Laver Arena.
In Sunbury, at Victoria University, 2007 is the year the Cert IV Music Industry Business students will learn everything about managing bands, booking gigs, promotions, marketing, legal issues, using technology and more. These skills will then assist them in working in the industry, maybe even with people like you.
But we can't do it alone. We are looking for bands and artists to work with, as well as fans to support the Australian music industry. Whether you're an accomplished musician, someone just starting out or simply a lover of any kind of music, we want to know you.
As a group we will be organising a lunchtime gig every second week at Victoria University in Sunbury. Check our gig guide for more details.
In addition to these bi-weekly performances, we are also organising two gigs that are worth checking out. These will be towards the end of April and May at a venue in Melbourne. And more to follow in the second half of the year!
