While thought to be a newcomer to the rap scene, the truth is KamB.I.N.O. is by no stretch of the imagination “new to the gameâ€.Born and raised in Columbus , Ohio , KamB.I.N.O. has lived life on both sides of the fence—from the hood to the ‘burbs, convicted criminal to hardworking businessman, sinner to saint. His initial emergence on the rap scene began at age of 14 as a secular artist with a group that quickly gained notoriety after winning numerous talent competitions around the city. While his passion for rap never ceased, he eventually put the mic down to explore other avenues that eventually led to the birth of his twin boys, a felony conviction, and various other life experiences that left him searching for something more.“I really gave my life back to the Lord a couple months after I wrapped my truck around a tree to end a long night of smoking, drinking and partying.†Kam says. “Not on no Kanye stuff but….I got jacked up (physically) pretty bad. The crazy thing about it is I was on probation, driving with a suspended license, had weed on my person in my system and in my car, and after being handcuffed and stuffed in the back of a cruiser the cops still ended up letting me go—they ain’t find nothin’ on me. I knew that wasn’t nothin’ but God.â€â€¦.“It kinda shook me up cause….I realized if I would’ve died that night my eternity would’ve been spent in a place I didn’t want to be. I’d gone through enough hellish living on earth to know I didn’t want to die and then have to rest forever in the same.â€While he didn’t realize it at the time, Kam feels God led him away from rap and through various obstacles only to lead him back to the mic with a new outlook on life and a strong desire to “plant seeds of salvation one ear at a timeâ€. “Impossible is Nothing" is now the model he lives by. “I thank God for the opportunity to step back into rap and do it the right way. I truly think if I would’ve kept on rapping I may have made it big and never looked to give God a real chance to change me and use me to help tell others he can change them too. He’s going to do big things thru me—this here’s just the beginning….I know itâ€Along with performing at several events across the city and out of town as well, KamB.I.N.O. has been busy working with several local artists including Rick D, High Priest, Ni- Mills, Street Pastor, B-Moses, Kaiser Jones and "The Elevationists". He is also working on his first solo project properly entitled “Just The Beginning"."I want people to see that there is another way, and that life is better on this side", says Kam." I want my music to change the world’s image of Christian rap, to let them know that there is realness to it".KamB.I.N.O. is a member of Columbus Christian Center in Columbus , Ohio with Pastor Dr. David Forbes where the mission is to Increase Lives with The Word of God.Contact Info:Infinite, LLC
