Illmatika a.k.a 'Sick Boy' an original uk mc/artist with many sides to his character representing his horoscope GEMINI to the fullest. Illmatika has history in the Jungle/drum n bass scene whom started rhyming in his school days. As a young teenager he got on his first radio station KIK fm in 1996 where he repped with DJ Papa G then hooked up with DJ Rips who spotted his potential and brought Illmatika on his first booking abroad in Italy (Milan).Illmatika has repped on pressure fm, rinse fm and is currently part of the KOOL FM HITSQUAD TEAM since 2004 while still repping with his long time DJ partner in crime DJ RIPS on drumnbassworldwide.co.uk.Illmatika has gone from local raves all over the uk to international since his early days covering events over europe, such as Poland, Switzerland, Italy, Germany, multiple events in Austria and as far east as Malaysia.In 2005 Illmatika was one of the first drum n bass mc's to have his tune 'Fluid' in heavy rotation on Channel U with a highly original video and big drum n bass remixes with a high success of mp3 downloads.Here is a few events to date that have booked Illmatika :One Nation, Telepathy, Informal, Basstronica,Epidemik, Heat vs Fever, Total Hynosis, Definition, Transgression,Hysteria, Legends of the Dark Black, Darklight, Backdrop, Morphed (Austria) and many more...He currently has a mixtape in construction, with the aim to have his new Video drop later this year....Quality MC with deeper content than ypur average dnb mc.
