Am I part of the cure or am I part of the disease?

About Me

ME: a self-righteous pacifist with an eclectic taste in the arts. i'm a person filled with disturbed, erudite thoughts. there are no real words for me except perhaps "eccentric." I've noticed (or so I've heard) that I tend to shift tides very easily. I can be the happy-go- lucky kid who indulges himself with cartoons and comic books and ice cream and other infantile pleasures, and with a blink of an eye, i can turn into a cranky self- absorbed @$$*3 consumed with a hatred for the world and all who stand in my way (cross me and i will run you down. then i will back up on you to make sure you are DEAD!). this does not mean that i'm bi-polar though. just moody. and annoying. and inconsistently intolerable. i mean, i have my moments. i can be lovable and charming (Lord knows how many people have been swept off by my charms... its very useful when you made a traffic violation and you are trying to talk your way out of it with the MMDA officer. a cute smile, coupled with a few winks and that classic puppy-eyed, "i'm a helpless kid look" and i'm home free!). where was i..? well, i hate smokers and i never (yeah NEVER) drink. i love sunsets and windy afternoons. and i enjoy watching "The New Adventures of Winnie the Pooh" (which is the most heart-warming television show Disney ever produced). i am the kind of person who has a lot of things bottled up and i refuse to open up because i may end up hurting people (or maybe i'm just afraid of hurting myself... go figure...). my true passion is for comic books. i've been collecting since 1992! my collection consists mostly of mainstream Marvel titles like X-Men and Spider-Man. Other titles include the Marvel Ultimate Books, Spawn, Lady Death, Witchblade, Darkness, Transformers, etc. its an expensive hobby but its better than smoking and drinking alcohol! i'm also a painter. i love painting landscapes and seascapes especially if its a sunset theme. our church choir moved to another parish and I kinda bailed out on the old lady who plays the organ while i sing as a solo act at our church early Sunday mornings so i guess that means i’m off the singing scene for a while. am not into video games but I am a huge table/air hockey and pinball fanatic (i love playin' especially when I play at the Mimosa Funhouse... told ya I'm a kid)for sports, i do soccer, fencing and TaeKwonDo. well, better cut that to just TaeKwonDo since last time I played Soccer was in highschool and fencing was in college. oh, and i'm also into web design and graphics. =) wanna see some of my web works? check out my site. =P http://www.cerebrofiles.com (sign the guestbook. This is not a request!!!!). i love to hang out at Greenbelt, Tiananmen Bar (did i spell that right?), Eastwood (the Cable Car Patio... best place to eat my Sisig with my friends and insult the poor slobs walkin' in the crowd *am so bad*) and Brewing Point (if you don't know what or where Brewing Point is, then you're not 'IN'). i love mustard and hot sauce and dimsum (sigh. i miss eating at Wai Ying and Wan Chai with my howe =( ...) and onion rings and pasta and pizza and lots of junk food! *yummmmm* anyway, we all know these "About me" stuff won't really help you much especially if you want to get to know me better so here's a suggestion: "Message Me. Ask Questions. And if I'm in the mood... I may message back..." now, if you are already listed as one of my so-called “friends” then you should know all this crap by now and instead of reading this novel, you should make yourself more useful and write me a testimonial!

My Interests

Stock Market, comics (mostly x-men titles & transformers & witchblade and... ah well - a lot!), crystals, TaeKwonDo, Capoeira, webdesign, pinball, soccer, fencing (well... used to), air hockey, painting, singing (yes! i sing with our church choir!!!!!).

I'd like to meet:

hmmm. let's see... so far, i've had messages like "can we be friends?" , "can you add me to your friends list?" (even though i have no idea who they are --- I DON'T ADD PEOPLE I DON'T KNOW! GOT IT? IF YOU WANT ME TO ADD YOU, BEFRIEND ME FIRST!!!! -- am not being a snob ok?), "how are you? long time no see friend!" (yeah right, like we were really friends in high school), and the best line i've ever read... "can we 'BECAME' friends?". And there's this one message asking me if the guy in the pic(s) is really me (hmmm.. so, who's that great looking guy and how in the world do i get copies of his pic? makes one wonder.... i dunno if i should be flattered or insulted. oh, bother...). And here's the latest: "i would like to be my frendster.. (ano daw?)" Honestly! Those are just some of the most pathetic not to mention stupefying lines i've read in my life! Show a little character. Gimme some attitude. C'mon people... be more creative! Don't make me laugh at you! Do I sound cruel? Well, I am! Am I worth the time and effort to get to know and 'befriend'? Read my testimonials and find out. Can stupid people message me and ask me idiotic questions in hope that I might reply and add them in my friends list? GET A CLUE!!! Oh, one more thing... if you can help me raise my new triope (yes, for my old, fellow trainers, i have a new one and this time, tasha is not here to kill T3 Jr. by over- feeding him), then drop me a line anytime! I would gladly reply and share with you the pains of seeing my first triope float dead in the little aquarium it grew to call home... *sobs and sniffs at the memory of Terminator, my beloved freshwater three-eyed crustacean (or shrimp if you may) from the Mesozoic period*
