Blues veteran Dave Keeley is at it again with his latest band Dr. Mellow & The Mojo's. Backed by well known performers Michael Molea (bass) and Jeff Curtiss (drums), this three-piece is one of the finest blues combos in Stevens County.Meshing the sounds of Chicago electric blues to Texas blues and swing, the band performs a handsome repertoire of classics originating from Howlin Wolf, T-Bone Walker, Buddy Guy, Lightning Hopkins, Freddie King and much more.Dave is an extrodinary guitarist who started playing at the age of 10. Growing up in the midwest in the 1970's Dave was exposed to many great bluesmen and had the pleasure of meeting BB King, Jimmy Vaughan and Hubert Sumlin of Howlin Wolf to name just a few. Along with Jeff Curtiss's 'in the pocket' drumming and Michael Molea's grooving bass lines, Dr. Mellow & The Mojo's are sure to leave audiences begging for more.
