Daniel LeSaint

Dylan has describe LeSaint one of the most innovative and original voices to come along since "Blind" Willie Johnson or McTell. While the music and lyrics of his songs seem to draw from from both sacred and blues traditions "He's truly in a class by himself, in essence a mystical writer, captivating, charismatic and magnetic.
Daniel has been playing, singing and writing music since the age of five, his mother played piano at a small local church in the backwoods of Georgia where much of Daniel's early influences were nurtured from youth. His Mom help to get him started on piano and music just seem to come naturally to him. A diversified torrent of music was always being enacted and echoing roundabout the house as he was coming up and had an intense impact on him. He studied, practiced 8 hours a day wood-shedding it's many forms and genera's during his youth.
He would take his guitar in the woods near his south Georgia home as a child an play all day long to the trees and birds, then listen to the sounds of nature and learn from them as well.
I guess music was just the talent God gifted me with in this life he told me recently. When he reached adolescence he was touring extensively with many celebrated artist and acts and playing huge venues, he has, worked, recorded and been involved with numerous legendary artist and has been signed to and reordered for many major record labels. Doing studio work since the age of fourteen yet he has chosen mostly to stay behind the scenes.
As of late he has decided at long last to embark on his first solo album which is due to be released by the end of January next year. Right now I am still experimenting with sounds and feelings and thoughts and lyrics and just doing what my heart and spirit are leading me to.
Additionally working as an engineer and producer through out the years and has been involved in various triumphant endeavors but has chosen to remain by in large anonymous, mysteriously and enigmatic throughout his career due to his discreet and reserved nature, working mostly under various pseudonyms and nom de plumes. But has now decided to come forward with the album that he feels he's been "called to do".
His roots run deep into Gospel, R&B, folk and jazz which he cut his teeth on, and plans revisiting to revel in. Although he spent most of his life involved in Pop, R&B, Soul, and other music there will be a touch of the curious on this spool.
He is hoping to do a tour by late Spring of 2008.
