About Full House
Full House was on ABC in 19 1987 to 1995. It had eight seasons. It was produced by Jeff Franklin. The them song was called "Everywhere You Look" and song by Jesse Frederick. The show was based in San Francisco. Their address was 1882 Gerard Street and their phone number is 555-2424.
History of Full House
The original title was House of Comics. It was going to be about three different comedians living together, but ABC wanted a sitcom about a family, so it was changed to Full House. The show was to promote family themes and values. The show a based on the movie Three Men and a Baby. In the first Jesse’s name was Cochran because one of the producers was a fan of singer Joe Cocker. Jesse admits that his real name is Hermes, but that his real life grandfathers name. Rebecca Donaldson was to appear on a few episodes as Danny’s co-host on Wake Up, San Francisco, but her popularity made her a role in Full House. The show original pilot was John Posey as Danny Tanner, because Bob Saget was on a CBS morning program. CBS let go Bob Saget which made him available for Full House. Steve first showed up in season 5 as DJ’s friend Steve Peters. In season six he showed up as DJ’s boyfriend Steve Hale. He would leave the show after season 7, but made one last appearance in season 8. Full House was part of TGIF from 1988 to 1991. The show moved to Tuesdays until it was cancelled. Full House was ranked Nielsen Ratings top 30 shows. Full House never had a proper series finale. ABC announced that Full House was canceled because of increasing cost to produce the show. WB wanted to pickup the show for a ninth season, but John Stamos said that the eighth season would be his last. Soon other actor side they were moving on to other projects. Full House now airs daily on ABC Family and Nick at Nite.
Full House Syndication
Since the 1995 finale, Full House has continued in syndication while gaining even more popularity among newer generations of family audiences. Full House was syndicated on various local stations nationwide. In the late 1990s, TBS Superstation and WGN aired the show every day until 2003. When the show was dropped from the daily schedule on both networks. Later that year Nick at Nite acquired the show, as well as ABC Family in 2004.
Production
Full House was filmed at Warner Brothers Studios in Los Angeles. The only episode filmed in San Francisco was Comet's Excellent Adventure. There were also a few episodes where the cast would shoot in other locations like Hawaii and Walt Disney World.
Opening credits
In the beginning the six original characters were shown either at home or in various shots in San Francisco. Beginning in season 4, the opening credits for the adults were also filmed in San Francisco as well as the last shot of the opening credits of the show which features the cast having a picnic in Alamo Square in the Western Addition neighborhood of San Francisco. It wasn't until season 8 that the opening credits were changed to feature the entire cast in various locations around San Francisco. The actual home used for exterior shots throughout the show's run is located several minutes away - at 1709 Broderick Street in San Francisco.
The role of Michelle was credited as being played by "Mary Kate Ashley Olsen" from seasons 2-7 because the show's director did not want audiences to know that Michelle was played by twins. Ashley's name was made to appear as Mary Kate's middle name in the titles. In season 8, they were credited as "Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen as Michelle".
It was not until season 5 that Andrea Barber was added to the opening credits.

The Characters
Daniel Ernest Tanner (Danny)
When his wife Pam died in a car attendant due to a drunk driver Danny is left with his 3 daughters Donna Jo (DJ) Stephanie Judith and Michell Elizabeth. Danny works as a sportscaster for Channel 8 News on the talk show Wake Up, San Francisco with Rebecca Donaldson. Danny loves to clean and very organized.
Donna Jo Margaret Tanner (DJ)
DJ shares a room with Stephanie. DJ switches rooms with Michelle. DJ has a relationship with Steve. DJ Brock up with Steve and almost dated Nelson and Viper but DJ did not.
Rebecca Donaldson/Katsopolis (Becky)
Becky was born in Nebraska. Becky lives with the Tanners with Jesse. Becky is married to Jesse and as twins Nicky and Alex. Becky is a host on Wake Up, San Francisco.
Stephanie Judith Tanner
Stephanie's likes to say "How rude!" and "Well pin a rose on your nose!." Stephanie likes to spy on DJ's life. Stephanie is the nosiest Tanner girl. Stephanie's best friend is Gia Mahan who was Stephanie's enemy.
Kimmy Gibbler
Kimmy is DJ's best friend. She live next door to the Tanners. Most of the Tanner family can't stand her. DJ is the only Tanner that loves her. DJ been her best friend sins kindergarten.
Joseph Alvin Gladstone (Joey)
Joey is Danny's best friend from the 5th grade. Joey likes to say "Cut.. It.. Out." Joey is a standup comic. Joey helps Jesse in advertising, writing jingles and on the radio show. They get their own advertising business in the attic of Danny's house.
Nicky and Alex
Nicky and Alex are the sons of Jesse and Rebecca. Thay are usely well-behaved through the series. Thay often repeat each other. The idea was that thay would be popular like Maichelle but it never happened.
Michelle Elizabeth Tanner
Michelle's best friends are Teddy, Denise and Aaron. Jesse and Michell get along the most. Michelle likes to say "You got it dude," You're in big trouble, mister, "Aw, Nuts!' and "Oh, Puh-lease."
Jesse (Hermes) Katsopolis (Original name Jesse Cochran)
Jesse is Danny's brother-in-law and Pam's younger brother. At first Jesse worked at his father's bug killung business but left and went to advertising with Joey. After advertising Jesse works at a afternoon radio show called the "Rush Hour Renegades" with Joey and now owns the Smash Club. Jesse want his band "Jesse And The Rippers" to "make it big." Jesse's band gets a record deal but the band voted Jesse out. Jesse loves his hair and Elvis Presley. He likes to say "Have Mercy and HUH?' Jesse dates Rebecca Donaldson (Becky) and marries Becky and as two twins Nicky and Alex. Jesse's last name got changed to Katsopolis to better mach his Greek heritage.
Steve Hale (Original name Steve Peters)
Steve is DJ's first boyfriend. Steve is 2 years older then DJ. Steve is on the hihg school wrestling team. Steve ate a lot of food at the Tanner house.
Aaron Baily
Aaron is Michelle's best friend. He's annoying, obnoxious and rude.
Viper
Viper was a player for Jesse's band. He dated D.J. They met during guitars auditions for Jesse's band.
Teddy
Teddy is Michelle's best friend.

Denise is Michelle's best friend
Derek S. Boyd
Derek is Michelle's best friend. At first Michelle hates him for getting a part at a play, but Michelle helps him get out of stage fright. He is very educated and a good singer, but kind of a wimp.
Walter Berman
Walter is Stephanie's friend from school. At first Stephanie teased him and made fun of him, but Uncle Jesse makes Stephanie apologize to him. They become good friends after that.
Wendy Tanner
Wendy is Danny's sister. She works at a zoo. When she was a child she didn't like Joey, but pretty soon they start a relationship.
Gia Mahan
Gia is Stephanie's best friend. She spent time with Stephanie and becomes more better. Her grades go up, she stops smoking and she's more respectful to her mother.
Nick Katsopolis
Nick is the father of Jesse and Pam. He owns a bug exterminator business.
Vicky Larson
Vicky was Danny girlfriend. She was filling in for Becky on Wake Up San Francisco. Pretty soon Danny falls in love with her and gets engaged, but Vicky's dream job in New York comes up and they break up. Danny never heard of her again.
Pam Katsopolis/Tanner
Pam was never on the show. Pam was only on the home video and that was the only time we saw Pam.

Caroline is a friend of Danny.

Rusty is Cindy's son. He is know to be a troublemaker and prankster.
