That's my son, you pothead!!

About Me

The year of Our Lord, 2007, has marked the Emergence of New Sam, which paved way for the Birth of Vegas Sam: Everyone Beware.I hail from the great state of Texas, (specifically West Texas), and have lived in Maryland for 9 years. I love football, especially the Dallas Cowboys. College teams: UTEP Miners, Texas Tech Red Raiders and Maryland Terps & the Irish ... I love music, especially Radiohead and Elliott Smith. They truly speak to me. I'm into all kinds of movies, but usually lean towards the artsy/odd/goofy side. I used to like to read a lot, but now just read the newspaper and try to turn my brain off when not at work. I am a dog person, too. Currently, I'm 29 years old and work as a school psychologist in a Baltimore City middle school. That typically involves assessment for special education eligibility, and providing counseling services. I like to work with kids, and they usually seem to warm up to me very quickly, even the tough ones. I find that a little positivity goes a long way, even if I don't know what the hell I am doing or talking about with them. The best description for my theoretical orientation is: "Cognitive-Behavioral, w/A little Love." Also, still have the 2nd/summer job at the Video store for extra $, and free rentals, and because it's fun. Lots of change and growing up in the past year..I am very mellow and relaxed, but also know how to have fun. I would say that I am very easy to get along with, and enjoy conversation- it seems like a lost art, sometimes... AIM-doors2288 Yahoo-doors228
