[September 2007].... Melissa and Jessica went to Dallas for a week in August to co-write and record 3 new songs with recording artist Chris August and drummer Jacob Schrodt. Chris and Jacob are partners in HeyBrother Productions! The new songs are now up on the playlist!! Leave comments and let us know which one is your favorite!!

[May 2007].... Melissa and Jessica also recently finished co-writing and recording 3 new songs with a talented Songwriter/Producer named Kmelz!!! The songs are on the playlist now!

Labbadia Sisters: The Labbadia Sisters (Melissa, 18 and Jessica, 15) have been singing, acting, and performing since they were very young. They are accomplished singers/songwriters who recorded their first Demo CD in early 2005 with Producer Doug Maxwell at Media Right Productions in New York City, on which they co-wrote their first original song entitled “You’re The Only Oneâ€. They have performed at a variety of venues, including at a Manhattan Rock club called “Coda†and “Don’t Tell Mama†in NYC.
They study Voice with Katie Luekens and Liz Caplan of Liz Caplan Vocal Studios in NYC, along with Cheryl Kemeny in CT; and also study Acting with Denise Simon in NY. Jessica also plays the Piano and studies with Martha Lind.
In mid-August 2007, Melissa and Jessica spent a week in Dallas working with recording artist Chris August to co-write and record some more original songs! They're up on the playlist now!
The Labbadia Sisters continue to perform locally and write more original songs. Jess plays and writes music on Piano, and Melissa adds her vocal talents along with Jess, as they come up with their unique vocal blend represented in their melodies, harmonies and lyrics. They have been inspired musically by such present day artists like Michelle Branch, Ashlee Simpson, and Kelly Clarkson, to 80’s artists like Heart, Joan Jett, and Pat Benatar. They have played with some of the best musicians in the industry including: Frank Pagano, Larry Saltzman, George Naha, Ed Alstrom, Paul Nelson, and Seth Glassman.
The Labbadia Sisters teamed up and co-wrote their latest Pop/Rock songs called “For Youâ€, “I Can’t Think Aboutâ€, and “Anymore†with Songwriter/Producer Kmelz (Carey Mellers) and Tone Jam Music. They are on the playlist now! Check them out and let us know what you think! Stay tuned for a Concert schedule.
Melissa and Jessica have also worked in the past with producer Johnny Montagnese at Carriage House Studios in Stamford, CT.
