I am here for Friends and Networking

About Me

I love meeting intelligent, interesting, and fun people from around the world. Traveling is one of my passions. I enjoy discovering new cultures and experiencing new beliefs and ways of life. Heres the real kicker - I'm a Scorpio! I know it may sound silly, but I am the definition of a true Scorp if there is such a thing or maybe, I'll leave that up for you to decide?

My Interests

I will try anything once. I will go anywhere in the world to meet new people and experience different ways of life. I wish I had more money to do it more often but I have that as one of my ultimate goals in life - not to let money dictate how I live it. You only get one chance so make it worth it! Personality wise, I like to consider myself an extrovert with exceptional people skills. I love having fun and adventures. I know what I like in people. I know that I will never let anyone tell me how to act or talk or behave ever again. That's the best advice I have to offer any girl out there who has had someone tell them to stop acting like themselves. Yes there is a time when you may need to stop and think about how others are acting around you. Manners and politness always have their place. But don't change who you are for anyone. If you feel like you need to change, do it to better yourself for yourself. Remember to get to know yourself and you will be suprise how much more you learn about the world around you...

I'd like to meet:

I want to meet intelligent, witty, fun, and open-minded people who are real and out for the best in life. I want to meet people who want to make a difference in the world and not sit back and think they don't have an affect on the way the world works. I love optimistic, charming, and out-going people who are not afraid to be different and an individual.

Music:

I Love All Music! These are some of my favorites. I need music in my life that is fun, energetic, and has something to say. I think we all have to live life by a certain soundtrack. What's on yours?

Movies:

Movies are the ultimate and most easy distraction from reality. I consider myself a faithful fan of seeing movies the way they were meant to be seen - in a theater. I wish I could see my favorites that way anytime I wanted which include movies like The Hunt for Red October, The Lord of the Rings trilogy, all the Star Wars, The Big Lebowski, Pulp Fiction, A Few Good Men, The Pelican Brief, All the Presidents Men, Gone With the Wind, The Great Gatsby, To Kill A Mockingbird, 12 Angry Men, What About Bob?, Austin Powers, Bio-Dome, Wayne's World, Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure, Dased and Confused, Walk of the Penguins, Jaws, Gia, and there are just too many to even mention. As you can see I like all types of movies. I would have to say that I like more "guy" kind of movies because I would rather see an action/war movie before anything else. What are your favorite distractions?

Television:

I think it's a big waste of time especially because of commercials. If it's a show you really can't live without then wait for it to come out on DVD. You maximize your enjoyment with minimal time consumption. I will admit that I watch "Lost." I'll watch the news any other time.

Books:

Tom Clancy is a technical genius and very hard to read but I love his books. I'm a hugh fan of Dan Brown's shotgun chapter style and I've read "The DaVinci Code" and "Angels and Demons" twice. I think it took a day and a half. I liked "The Celestine Prophecy." My all time favorite book is "The Hot Zone" by Richard Preston. You think Bird Flu is scary try reading about the other killer viruses out there. Michael Crichton and John Grisham are also some of my favorite authors. Pretty much anything they write will keep you wanting more. Then of course if you want to be scared and left feeling a little uneasy about the world around you try Stephen King.

Heroes:

I don't really have any yet that are personally in my life. I really love my brother. He's the closet thing I've got to a hero. He's been there to help me more than I deserve. I only hope that someday I will be able to repay him for all the help he has given me. I really respect and honor all the soldiers in our Armed Forces. They deserve the highest level of respect we all can offer them. They are truely Heros. Other than that the traditional Gandhi and Mother Thereasa are true people we could all stand to live a little bit more like in our daily lives, me included. I think we could all be a little more thankful and appreciative for the lives we live and be more humble when life gets tough. It could always be so much worse! Think Iraq, Kenya, and any other place that people can't think in terms of tommorrow, only right now!

My Blog

Well it's going good so far!

Okay this was a really bad time for me to become a member of myspace because this is the last week of classes for me and instead of doing my "home work" I'm on here trying to figure everything out.
