About Me
Born in 73, i began my musical education only by listening to records with passion in my childhood and teenage years, most pop, jazz and classical.My grandmother is a professional violonist and comes from a familly linked with Berlioz s uncle, music was a part of everyone s education around her and when i came to live at her home she suggested that i learn an instrument, i chose the doublebass, i was 23.My first love was the magic version of "autumn leaves" on "something esle", Adderley's record featuring Miles, heard it while i was drivin on a road in the snowy winter mountains of Jura where i was born...Years ago, i came to NYC and i received some precious lessons from great jazz bass player like Dennis Irwin, Ben Sreet, Johannes Weindenmuller.I had lived in the cities of Lyon, Paris and Barcelona, i was lucky to have met a lot of beautiful cats overthere and play with them.To name a few : the members of my band of course, but also David Doruzka, Jim Rotondi, Jorge Rossy, Esteve Pi, Joe Smith, Sophie Alour, Nelson Veras, Guillermo Klein, Mark Turner, Bruce Arkin, RJ Miller, Pierre de Bethmann, Olivier Bogé, Rick Margitza, Nicolas Kummert, Olivier Zanot, Malik Mezzadri, and many others... sorry for not listing your names here, you are all important for me.I edited my profile with Thomas' Myspace Editor V4.4
