We are a kind, loving family who appreciates others like ourselves. We have a very special daughter Monica. Monica has a rare metabolic illness called Pyruvate dehydrogenase complex deficiency (PDCD). It affects her mitochondrial metabolism, and makes it hard for her to process sugar and carbs. Monica has an attitude that just wont quit! We are a close knit family filled with love. We have family all over the US, so this "space" is to keep us connected. I have studied martial arts for 15 years. Chinese Kajukenbo is my trade, and I have studied and taught this art around the world. I wish to travel again, but my family comes first. Our Dojo is a training place for body, mind and spirit. I am originally from St. Louis Mo, and my wife was born in Montana, but grew up in Yonkers NY. We met a training seminar in Washington, and have been inseperable since then. We now live in Kansas for both work and the Wesley Medical Center that has a wonderful genetics devision. Kathy is the "mother of the year" EVERY YEAR caring for Monica. She is an amazing doctor, and has given every moment of her life to Monica since she was borm. We are happy to hear from old friends, and new ones, so say "hi"
