EL DAVID is a visual artist, Poet / spoken word artist, music producer and singer for New Jersey Bomba & Plena group "Segunda Quimbamba". El David has produced many hip hop artists and has put out several Revolutionary Rap CD's and one Spoken Word CD. He has also published a book of poetry and spoken word called "AMERICA'S BRAINCHILD" (PAPERBACK AVAILABLE NOW AT LULU.COM - http://www.lulu.com/content/2089928).Some of El David's Albums include "Sedition Lesson One", "Lesson 2", "Adult Guntemperhairy Musesick 4 Da Streets", and WORD WAR I. El David coined a new genre called Roots and Concrete or R&C, which is a mix of Bomba Plena and urban styles like hip hop and club.His last recording was a R&C CD with Percussionist Nelson Baez called Sancocho (Available at CDBABY.COM and iTunes). El David has just finished his latest solo project which is another R&C album called "Raices en Concreto" and it continues where Sancocho left off.
