Born in Chicago in 1980! Raised in Albany Park...I'm not gonna tell you my life story nor am I going to get all in depth on who "Custom" is and what not. I just love music, simple as that, no big mystery, no bullshit, just me! Started off as a house Dj when I was 12, then got into Hip Hop in 1994 and it's been my love since...I do it because I can...So on that note...Just listen to the music...Chill, flow, rap, vibe, just enjoy the good goods!!!
Now I would like to take the time to acknowledge a handful of local inspirations. To those who have been putting out music before the era of CD's thank you. For those DJ's that made mix tapes on an actual cassette tape, thank you. To the MC's that would kick ciphers from Navy Pier, to Pilsen, Humbolt, Logan Square, Albany Park, Rogers Park, Stoney Island, Dolton, Wicker Park, the Wild 100's, the record shops, the music bodegas in the lil mom and pop outlets, to the endless discussions at the grub spots in the late nights to early mornings, to the graph heads that ran the lines of brown, red, blue, from Midway to O'hare, to the venues that allowed us to have a Mecca of our music, to the many parents that put up with their child as they experienced this ever changing movement...
