The Humming Field

I'm not sayin'... I'm just sayin'

About Me

The Humming Field is the first solo venture of Matt Cullen. Having spent many years as a guitarist and/or producer for The Sighs, Another Girl, Andrew Jones and SpiritHouse, Kevin Salem, Spookie Daly Pride, and most recently Ware River Club, Matt is finally well into the oft-threatened solo recording. These songs began in Matt's home studio and are being re-recorded and co-produced at SpiritHouse Studios with Danny Bernini. With the crackpot band of Doni McAulay on drums, the sessions are going swimmingly. More songs to be posted.

All sorts of friends, armed with records or guitars, that would be willing to teach me that cool new riff we just listened to, lots of people that I've played in bands, or shared gigs, with. It's hard not to be influenced by other musicians. Everyone can learn something from somebody else, that's one of the really cool things about music.
