Tony C. Adiang, also known as DJ Tony Fresh was born in Southern Sudan. He has been a fan of music since his early childhood years. Tony Fresh has been moved around from Ethiopia, Kenya and Many other countries. At the age of 12, Tony and his family moved to the United States, it has solidly been his new home since 1995. On his first day in middle school, he was introduced to the ever so famous hit record; 'Juicy' by Notorious Big. From that point on, Tony Fresh started listening to a new style of music that he didn't know about before.
It went from Big, Tupac, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, to Jay-Z. Tony Fresh was always looking for the latest tracks to get hands on, eager to hear more from his new found love; Hip Hop. In high school he tried being an MC; however that was short lived when one of his closest friends introduced him to turntablism; one of the most important elements in Hip Hop.
In 1999, Tony Fresh started his journey to becoming a phenomenal DJ. He started listening to Reggae, R&B and many other styles of music. Hip Hop was still his first love. In high school he was known as DJ Spyda because of his long fingers, two years later, his DJ name changed from DJ Spyda to DJ Tontastic. Years passed and Tony kept working on his DJ skills. In late 2002, Tony Fresh moved from the Midwest to Las Vegas to give his DJ career a better chance. However, it was harder to get into anything in the city of sin. He quickly found out that the Vegas was full of DJs; a city where a new DJ is made a DJ. No direction, no unity, and very thing is based on a monopoly. You have to know someone to get into a club and have longevity.
In 2007, Tony Fresh went back towards his passion and this time he came back stronger and smarter about what he wants to do with his DJ career. As busy as he was in college life, he started the 'Royal Status DJs’ off with something to achieve. Tony Fresh added some of the best DJs from Hawaii to Vegas; DJ Whoa Buddy, DJ Chris Roxstar, DJ Ammo, DJ Knoxx, and DJ Ghostt. This is just the beginning of the legacy that he is scratching and spinning, the Royal Status DJs are Las Vegas.
Tony Fresh’s life is moving at a supersonic speed, but he still remains calm and humble, despite the constant orbit of activities around him. He is proud to admit that he is the coolest, and most calm collected person that anyone will ever meet. His life is defined by music, fashion, and the influential people that he comes in contact with, including his family. Tony says, "I got so much respect to the DJs that came before me and are still doing their thing.†DJs like Presto One, who he learned so much from; DJ Rectangle, Q Bert, DJ Slip, DJ Miss Joy, DJ Kriscut, along with so many more. Without them there would be no DJ Tony Fresh. So Thank you all, I hope to come close to your greatness some day. They all gave me something to love, along with a passion, and a drive to reach my goals. Much love and respect to each one of you.â€
