Sonny (V is for Vagina) Lanegan

About Me

Sonny has been playing since he was 13 years old. He started on drums but eventually made a switch to guitar. Guitar is his instument of choice but he is able to play bass, keyboards, drums, sing, and produce his own songs. He is a songwriter and a great showman. He has played hundreds of shows in different bands. He has a lot of experience and knowlege about the music business.At the moment he is part of a few different projects: White Pulp- his own project with all original songs, will be finished with the full legnth studio album by the end of january. They previously toured Los Angeles and parts of Italy.Hellfire Society- he joined just recently to play guitars on there upcoming tour.Posthuman- which is a Marilyn Manson tribute band, has been very successful. In the last 3 years alone the played more than 200 shows. The toured in Italy, Belgium, Croatia, and America . They are still playing and doing well despite the change in members. They have been touring this season and have more shows coming up.The spiral- a tribute to Nine Inch Nails. Has been touring about as long as posthuman. They continue to play shows but a little less frequently than before.

Influences: nine inch nails, marilyn manson, a perfect circle, alice in chains, soundgarden, my bloody valentine, tool, smashing pumpkins, rammstein, rob zombie, silverchair, type o negative, queens of the stone age, kyuss, peter gabriel, depeche mode and many bands over the years have influenced me and my sound.
