Janny Casanova, born in Chile, Latin America..... Raised and adopted by her parents love for jazz, soul, and latin american influences, has finally decided to go solo, after working and collaborating for 5 years in the dynamic of what is Rastawookie... But not totally though! With a fantastic number of amazing hiphop, soul, jazz, drum'n'bass and ridiculously clever musicians and friends by her side including, Simon Kay- (Bass) P-Bass expressway, Ray Ledesma- (Guitar) Rastawookie, Dj Patto- (Decks) Foreign Dub, Carlos Adura- (Drums) Caca, And an array of other musicians, the band is now in core and ready to begin their journey, a whirlwind of what is old school and fresh...Using their love for the old jazz and fusing it together with their influences of hiphop and dub the new year is set to be a major step for the artist and her band....On the steps of recording the first ep, with collaborations with Tony Buchen- (Baggsmen), And Foreign dub, this will definately be an important time to set the pace right and make their mark on the Hiphop scene....Be on the look out!!!
