I love life....especialy with my Wife, Jamie. She's a great girl, and my very best friend. I LOVE her and I LIKE her...I TRUST her too, with my deepest darkest secrets. We all have them, you know. I also like to scuba dive with her, go to beaches, vacation, listen to music.... all sorts, really. If it gives me happy feet, I like it... one of those kinds of guys. I like drinking some beers with her and just talking after work, too. I like keeping up with the news, although, more often than not, things that go on piss me off... or should I say stupid people that are in the news piss me off. Oh well.
Don't even get me started!! I'd LOVE to meet George Bush (aka "King George ii) and tell him to his face that he is a bloody idiot! I'd love to ream his tight ass and let him know that he is an embarrassment to out Country. the only consolation I have is the fact that I didn't vote for him either time. I'd like to meet George Washington and let him know what a mess politicians have made of this country with all their dishonesty and selfishness. I bet he'd like to know. I'd ask him for advise on how to fix it. On a more pleasant note, I'd love to meet Mich Jagger and Keith Richards. Two very cool, legendary rockers. Eric Clapton is high on my list of people I'd like to meet too. Paul McCartney and Ringo Star... oh yeah, definitely. Bobby DiNero and Al Pacino for sure. I'd like to meet Steve Jobes and tell him how brilliant I think he is for developing the MAC, and the iPod. Love my iMac!! Don't get me wrong on this next thing, because I'm not in any big hurry.... but some day, if I'm good and worthy, I hope to meet God and have a long conversation about why he does some of the things he does. Love the guy, but just have a few unanswered questions about stuff that goes on in life.
As i said, if it gives me happy feet, I like it. Stones, Clapton, CSNY, Alan Jackson, Jimmy Buffett, Led Zepplen, and lots and lots more. My Son got me back into liking Country Music too... add that to my faves as well. I'd be remiss if I didn't mention that I like my Brothers' Band, Smash Palace. Great music, great live band. Go see them in a Philly/South Jersey Pub some day. You won't regret it.
Like exciting movies, dramas, action, who done it's, war movies... Band of Brothers is a real fave of mine.
Don't watch it much. Like Pro Football and the Olympics. the Simpsons too. I like watching 60 Minutes too, but some of the topics really get me pissed off. See remark above about not disliking the news so much as the stupid people that MAKE it into the news!!! George Bush and Dick Chenney for example. Don't even get me started again!!!
Like magazines more.... Newsweek, Time, Brandweek, Advertising Age, etc.
My Dad. Now there was a great guy. Problem is that it took me till I was grown up to realize it. A true Hero of a Man. My two Sons, Dave and Andrew... really stand up guys... both in their own ways... definitely heroes of mine. I've got these two great Brothers, Steve and Brian. I don't know about heroes, but they are two guys I love a lot, respect and admire. Yeah, Heroes fits them, I guess. All three of us stick together, respect each other, help each other when one of us is in need, and love each other as Brothers should. We've all been in difficult situations over our lifetimes, and we've all proven we can be counted on... not judgemental, just help and love when it's needed. Both our parents are deceased, so basically, we're orphans. We make a point of keeping in touch, keeping the family thing going. Yeah, they are my heroes, after thinking about it. Best friends, too. Our Wives, DyAnne, Lan, and my Wife Jamie are good friends too, which I think is just great. Hero-ettes, all three of them. Then there's Popeye, him too...good philosopher as I see it.... "I am what I am, and that's all that I am... Popeye the Sailor Man." Words to live by for sure. Be comfortable with who you are....be proud of who you are.... that's important too. Oh, and Spiderman. He's cool too.
