"I am known by many names..." This is the one I have chosen.Having been fortunate enough to begin a study of martial arts at an early age, it has been my privilege for the last few years to share some of what I have learned with other martial artists worldwide. This has made me the target of a wide variety of internet commandos and Ninja wannbees who, while having no credentials of their own, take great delight in questioning the heritage of anyone of whom they are jealous. To this end they have accused me of having at least fifteen different identities. In spite of the fact that such forms of subtrefuge are the stock and trade of those who practice the art of the Ninja, they seem to think that this somehow disqualifies me from teaching people self-defense. Of course, no amount of proof is sufficient for a closed mind. I have answered all their charges many times, but they never tire of dragging them out again. The basis of Ninjitsu is invisibility. The foundation of this system is the simple trick of throwing sand in the attacker's eyes so you can run away to safety. This technique is virtually foolproof and requires no practice whatsoever. Why these trolls want to deny that knowledge to the public by discrediting me and my humble literary efforts is a mystery. Perhaps it is because they do not want the people to be empowered. But, there is a new day coming. When people will realize that martial arts, no matter what style or name, are not about fighting or violence or revenge. They are about self-improvement. The only real enemy we have is ourselves. The only reason we fight is to test our level of skill. There is no one martial art that is suerior to all the rest. Only different levels of skill. And, on any given day, even the Champion can be beat. So, we practice peace and harmony. We have no dogma, nor philosophy, nor credo. We just do our exercise. We seek to help others so that good deeds will spread out like the ripples on a pond and cover the whole Earth.
