Liam Brady was the manager at that time who now is the Head of Arsenals quality Academy. I played 67 games playing in the U.E.F.A Cup and 2 League Cup semi-finals.I then got sold to Ipswich Town for then a club record for 800,000 pounds. I played just under 100 games playing in the newly formed Premiership.I then left to join Watford on a free transfer. I played 40 odd games before having 3 operations on achilles and knee injuries.I then went to play in Australia. I lasted just over a year before the club went bankrupt.I came home and went into part-time football playing for Forest Green and Weston Super Mare.I have my U.E.F.A badges which enabled me to work in West Hams Academy for 4 years.Played as a winger and forward for West Ham United, Celtic, Ipswich Town, Leicester City, Watford, Carlton SC (Australia) and Forest Green Rovers.
