G was born in Pittsburgh pennsylvania and moved to Cali at the age of two where he was raised by two talented parents. The arts of music, drawing, writing, & singing were blessingly passed down to him. Some of his relatives such as the late Arthur Ashe,(famous tennis player), Ed Blackwell, (famous deep voice of the hit song "Blue Moon")and Ernie Shavers, (famous heavy weight boxer known as one of the first to knock down Ali) are great influnces in his life. As a kid he grew up in the studio watching his parents lay down background vocals for various albums. His father was part of a soul group called "Essence" who had songs on the radio and appeard on live television in the early 80's. In 1983 Micheal Jackson came visit Sylvan Park Elementary Where G & his best friend Casey were chosen to perfom a live break dancing rendition of "Beat It" for the King Of Pop himself, who enjoyed the performence as it was televised on the news. G continued Breaking & Poping and won 1st place in many contests. In his teens he stayed active in art, dancing, singing, & music production becoming best artist in Junior High & Highschool as well as forming dance crews and joining Pep Club . Through his mother by the age of fifteen, he met his first manager who convinced him to form an R&B group(3 Deep) who later sighned with MCA records. G has produced for Tha Dogg Pound,Charlie Wilson,Kashif, & others. There's much more 2 come from this talented brotha, including books, art, & music.
