About Me

BAM THA BO$$About an hour North of Los Angeles, in a desert town called West Side Lancaster, the hip hop movement is about to explode. Not that the movement is new there, it’s just that a familiar hometown artist, BAM THA BO$$, is putting Lancaster on the map after years of local support. Born in The San Fernando Valley, BAM was transplanted to West Lancaster at ten years old. BAM recalls the reason his parents took him from Sun Valley to Lancaster was to move him away from gang territory but BAM eventually made Lancaster his very own gang territory. It was also his parents (who are from Sun Valley, Ca with native Jalisco, Mexico born Parents) who influenced BAM’s musical interests by introducing him to old school hip hop and radio station power 106FM as he was growing up. At an early age BAM remembers hip hop music being played in the home and at five years old he gave his first live performance in front of his family as he spit out lyrics by Kid Frost in his living room. As a teen, BAM went on to perform at parties, schools and at town functions. He was surprised by the overwhelming support he was given by the neighborhood crew as they pushed him for more sounds and insisted he take his passion to a higher level. Wanting to make something positive out of life and a love and an ear for music, BAM had dreams and visions of becoming a “Famous Player in the game” and pursued the ride of his life of becoming a ghetto icon/recording artist. BAM’s first professional recording was done at WS BUGG’s with his Big Homie Butch and Frank Nitty which expanded from there. With the help and great friendship of his manager, “The Original Young Buck, ” he would later work with artists such as SNOOP DOGG, DOWN AKA KILO, AKON, 2.. 40GLOCC, BAD AZZ, KOKANE,YUKMOUTH, Just to name a few. More grown and known as BAM THE BO$$, he used his experience to reveal music about growing up and fighting the street gang urge. He puts great importance in expressing to others through his music that there are ways to keep out of trouble just as he has done by focusing on his music. In his own words, Bam was, "Influenced by what tha streets taught me, my trials and tribulations from selling dope to having a single with BIGG SNOOP DOGG that’s breaking the airwaves as we speak. From the streets to a Presidential suite with intentions to be a successful platinum selling Cholo.” Now that he has helped bring hip hop to the desert he is focusing on a worldwide market. Recently touring with DOWN AKA KILO for the past several months he has found a new group of supporters who believe in him. SNOOP DOGG is just one of the people who believe in BAM as he throws down with him on their recent recording “Make it CLAP” in hope that he can help BAM become more recognized as someone who should be taken seriously in this world of Hip Hop. With hundreds of songs under his belt, BAM is now ready for anything and can bring a performance that is unforgettable. He is matured and focused and has proved his skills live and with professional performers. BAM credits his musical interests as Roger Troutman, Too Short, LL Cool J, Dj Quik, Dr. Dre, Snoop Dog, Battlecat, The Whole DPG Deathrow movement, 2 PAC, NAS, Scarface, Devin the Dude, Jay Z and so many more talents that are out there.
