I have been on the turntables for over twenty years. I was influenced early on by pioneers such as Jam Master Jay, Grandmaster Flash, Marley Marl, Dj Red Alert and Mixmaster Ice of UTFO in the eighties. In the nineties these influences were Pete Rock, Dj Premier, Jazzy Jeff and Dj Lord Jazz just to name a few. In 2001 I began my radio career with Power 98fm WPEG here in Charlotte NC. I was the featured Dj for the 12 0 clock office party mix and my favorite show of course Flashback Friday in which I blended the best of late eighties to mid nineties hiphop and r@b. My love for the pure, raw, underground hiphop led my heart away from radio and its BS and politics. It did give me the opportunity to meet and open up for artists such as Kanye West, Common, De La Soul, Talib Kweli, Jay-Z, Ludacris, Pete Rock, EPMD, Doug E Fresh and Cee Lo just to name a few. I have a strong passion for the Dj's role as the cornerstone of hiphop and am driven by this same passion to continue to support and be a part of REAL HIPHOP MUSIC..
