Bethany Clements - Recording artist

The first song I am sharing with you from my collection is when I demo'd with John Young in Tampa, FL a few years ago. He had already written the music and lyrics and just needed the right singer to come in and record his/her voice. After quite a few cds/tapes were mailed to him and to Fantasma Productions (Orlando, FL), they decided to choose me !! I was so excited that I was chosen, as I had never had the opportunity to record in a professional studio before. Unfortunately, as luck goes sometimes, I came down with a really, REALLY bad case of laryngitis and bronchitis a few days before I was to record. So, the 3 songs that were recorded that week (including "Life on the Edge") were NOT my best capability. But, I am still very glad that I did it and there is more to come from me and with a much more powerful voice. I hope you enjoy it.
Future recordings I will be sharing with you will be a little different in style than the John Young Band songs. Although I treasure these songs with all my heart, they do not represent my true style of soul, hard rock, and indie rock blend, both in vocal and music. Imagine a mixture of Poe, Pat Benatar, Paula Cole and KT Tunstall. And a little bit of Scorpions. :)
