I have been writing songs/lyrics/poetry since I was a little girl. To get an idea of the new album style it is a mix of Alicia Keys meets Nora Jones, Sheryl Crow with a touch of Rhianna rolled into one~ To hear as one of my most inspirational singer/songwriters, Bono say, “music can change peoples mood’s, mind’s and create a revolution.†That music is energy that can make your day totally new and inspirational if used as a tool to project yourself in a proactive way and live free & open with love for one’s self and others! I’m all about that type of expression and want to share in that process! I began to spin as a DJ for the love of the music and by creating my own original tracks felt I could offer a sound like none other! I also felt I could move to the next level with a video mix show as I spin and attract the audience with Live vocals when I lay my own music down!
My company Starr Vision Productions is a multi-media company that has been successful in the past in the film, video, and commercial industry and since the inception of it in 2000 I decided in 2006 to create my very own music label, Sex Kitten Music. With an enormous fan base in the United States and Europe I am expanding deep into the world of dance/house/progressive and even electro Pop-Hop!!! I plan to launch my clothing / accessory line Sex Kitten Apparel launched in the Fall so look out for my 9 Lives clothing Edition in stores in boutiques stores Everywhere!
INgrooves distribution, licensing, and marketing has brought me proper exposure and has assisted crossing over my image to the forefront! I shot my first music video at Empire Ballroom in Las Vegas as a follow up to the CD release which will only add to the Heat and attention this sizzling song has generated! It was a three day marathon and one of them included a live shoot with 500 guests, 15 sponsors such as Ed Hardy, Toxic Waste & Platinum sponsor, Pure Pussy Energy helped in the promotion of this event. I’ve begun performing since March 2007 at the WMC & such Venues as: Camden House, LAX, Avalon, Hadaka, Cat House, Wet Republic Pool, Drais, Rio Pool, Studio 54, Body English and opened up for DeepDish and BT in Atlantic City at the Harrahs Hotel… dates of up and coming events are soon to follow and are filling up fast into the end of 2008! I’m in the studio currently finishing up my album now called, “Counting Starrs†and will be following up with a re-mix album around the same time…January 2009. My singles collection has already hit every digital resource so look for it on I-Tunes / Beat Port.
