Olga

Hey I am Grand Duchess Olga Romanov but feel free to call me Olya or Olishka. I am daughter of Tsar Nicholas II and Empress Alexandra. I am their oldest child, I feel strongly about eldest rights. When I was born they were overjoyed after the difficult pregnancy. I was born with chestnut-blonde hair and blue eyes and still have these looks. I grew up being very close with my sister Tatya, we were known as the big pair. I also grew up with my sisters Maria and Nastya and my littlest brother Alexi. We all loved to play tennis and go swimming and horseback riding during the summers. I love to read and have always been fascinated by politics and world affairs. I do love to learn but I also like to spend my spare time singing and playing the piano. I have always been independent and obstinate and that sometimes caused tiffs between me and my mother but I have never been one to hold grudges. My mother and I both loved to help others and were involved in charity. We both were Sisters of the Red Cross along with Tatya. I am quite close with my father. We share things during the most difficult times. I think this is because we are so much alike that we have a special bond. There has been talk of engagemet to several suitors but my parents would never send us off with someone we didn't wish to be with. The man I love is my Dmitri. He left for war and I haven't seen him since. I miss my Mitya dearly and perhaps one day I will see him again.
