I did have a load of people typed here, but I decided to get rid of it. I don't know if I'm really the sort of person that 'wants to meet famous people because I like their music/films etc'. I mean in a journalistic way, there's tons of people I'd love to interview, every person has their story, even the boring old woman across the road kind thing. If the heading means 'who I'd like to meet on here' (it's a bit ambiguous), then I guess just people with the same interests, who actually wanna talk and not just add me to look like they have lots of friends. If you're gonna add me, have something to say, or what's the point! I mainly use myspace to keep in touch with friends though, and has been quite useful hearing bands I haven't heard of before. Rant rant rant lol :-)
Fabric Live, Nine Inch Nails, David Bowie, The Cure, Joy Division, Felix Da Housecat, Miss Kittin, New Order, Depeche Mode, The Smiths, Morrissey, The Faint, Bauhaus, Bjork, AFI, Converge, xCanaanx, Outbreak, Eden Maine, Medulla Nocte, The Legacy, Slayer, System of a Down, Boy Sets Fire, Earthtone 9, Garbage, Suede, Daft Punk, Prodigy, The Flaming Lips, Faithless, Goldfrapp, The Postal Service, Figurine, Hunter Gatherer, Massive Attack, Sigur Ros, Johnny Cash, Portishead, Fisherspooner, LCD Soundsystem, Mylo, Moby, Modest Mouse, The Pixies, Adam and the Ants, Marilyn Manson, Beethoven, Tchaikovsky, Liszt, Pulp, The Nightmare Before Christmas soundtrack ;-), old school stuff from early '90s (ie. when I was in school - I believe you can't just stop liking something because you grew up) ~ Quite a mixture then ;) I'd say at the moment my main genres are electro and old bands like Joy Division that I find really hard to categorise!
I'm a bit of a movie buff :) But here are my favourites: Sin City, The Assasination of Richard Nixon, The Shining, Natural Born Killers, American Beauty, Cape Fear, Taxi Driver, The Count of Monte Cristo, Spirited Away, Kiki's Delivry Service, Belleville Rendevous, Seven, Akira, The Last Samurai, Amelie, Princess Mononoke, Castle in the Sky, Howl's Moving Castle, In the Mood for Love, Scarface, many Hitchcock films (favourites are The Birds, North by Northwest, Strangers On A Train), Nightmare Before Christmas, Asian films like Audition and Dark Water etc, Kill Bill 1 and 2, Lord of the Rings trilogy, L.A. Confidential, Un Chien Andalou, Lost Highway, High Fidelity, Labyrinth, Pulp Fiction, The Cube, 12 Angry Men, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Pirates of the Carribean, House of Flying Daggers I love going through Top 1000 Films books/sites and discovering films I haven't seen or heard of before..
The Simpsons, Family Guy, Lost, Planet Earth, I'm not really a TV fan, and the stuff I normally would wanna watch tends to be on at stupid times like 3am
Most Stephen King novels (especially Insomnia), The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night time, The Big Over Easy, Tales from Earthsea quartet, classics like The Count of Monte Cristo, Day of the Triffids etc, non-fiction ie. alternative therapies, conspiracy theories, different religions, self-help, animal rights, films, etc, comics, but mostly text books for uni during term time, damn them
You can't rely on anyone but yourself :) Try and be your own hero. If a person has qualities you aspire to, or have done something you see as heroic, go ahead and do it yourself, it will feel amazing!
