Hello! I don't really talk about myself, well most of the time anyway lol. I have been interested in Ninjutsu for a while now. I have not been to the Togakure Ryu yet, but I do want to go. I have 1 book written by Grandmaster Hatsumi and another book by Grandmaster Hayes. It is true that I took a high interest in the Ninja from a video game on the PS2, but I have totally changed my outlook on the Ninja after reading a couple of books about Ninjutsu and the Ninja.
I will type some history of the Ninja in a while, but for now, let me tell you that they are not just stealth killers, they are totally different than from what TV shows, movies, comic books, and videos games portray them to be. The video game that I played that got me into the Ninja is Tenchu: Wrath of Heaven.
The video game did not portray them to be killers at all, in a way, it even showed the difference between Ninja and Stealth Assassin. I'm not saying that you should pick up the game if you want to learn about the Ninja or Ninjutsu, if you want to, then look for books written by Masaaki Hatsumi and Stephan K. Hayes. Do your best to avoid Ashida Kim in any way possible, he is not a Ninja. I may be new to this, but he only shows things military related, and nothing on the teachings of Budo Taijutsu, he doesn't even mention of how the first Ninja were Samurai who fled to mountains of Iga!
Anyways, I will type more here as I learn. And I may type more of me here too lol.
