About Me

I edited my profile with Thomas Bullshit Editor V6.66
father.. wireless guru.. faithful friend.. failed husband.. punk rocker.. egomaniac.. born loser.. bullshitter supreme.. winner in life.. tragic figure.. American.. world citizen.. open minded.. jaded.. set in my ways.. a living contradiction.. I am the Yin and the fucking Yang all wrapped into one...in other words: I AM A HUMAN BEING...How did I get here? Lets see...this story starts in 1968 in Northern California's Central Valley. I had a pretty normal middle class upbringing. I was a bit of a social outcast through school. I discovered hardcore punk in 1981 and found my niche...It was okay to be different. I drove dirt track midget racecars, and ran hurdles (track) through high school and 2 years of college. Started in the wireless industry in 1986. Left NoCal for Orange County (SoCal) in 1990. I had a blast, went crazy and partied like a rock star. Figured I needed to slow down a bit and got married in 1994. Had my first child in 1997. Thought that the home prices, traffic, smog, and overall situation for raising a family was gonna be better in the south so I moved to Louisiana in 1998. I had 2 more children with the wife and bought a house. Lived like content married guy. Wife went wild (her mid-life crisis), marriage dissolved..got divorced in 2005. I went a little crazy again, did some traveling, met and fell for a much younger woman (my mid-life crisis). We shacked up and had a beautiful baby (#4). I am now single again but I am gonna take my time and just live my life for a bit at a litlle slower pace. I have experienced some amazing things in this life and met some incredible folks in my 38 years. I have many stories to tell. Ask me about them sometime.
Things that make me happy: playing with my kids, curling up on the couch with the right woman, being in the company of good people, good conversation with said good people, listening to music both recorded and live(especially old school punk rawk), preparing and eating ethnic cuisine (especially Mexican, Japanese, Vietnamese, Thai and Korean), drinking varietal wines and microbrew and import beers, being an irritant to fucked-up people, being a friend to extraordinary people, playing and watching sports, open-minded folks, cleaning my ears with q-tips(aaaahhh!!!), people watching, playing music (albeit very badly), sex with the right woman and contemplating the irony of life on this planet.
An incomplete list of things that bum me out: closed-minded assholes, Neo-Con pundits, psycho bitches (somehow I always find them), bigots, mean people, suicidal martyr kids lacking self-accountability, apathy, Wal-Mart, globalization, the errosion of the middle class, whiney little EMO pussies, anyone who emulates or aspires to be like Paris Hilton, big fucking SUVs with little soccer moms behind the wheel, power-drunk politicians, war, famine, disease (I don't have any), intellectual elitists (educated pricks) and the future prospects of life on this planet.
Contrary to the Neo-cons who would tell you otherwise, I LOVE America but hate her arrogance, superiority complex and need to impose our morality and values on the other countries of the planet. We are so caught up in everyone else's shit that we forgot about ourselves. We need to fix it quick or we will all be speaking Chinese in about 60 years....

.. You scored as agnosticism
. You are an agnostic. Though it is generally taken that agnostics neither believe nor disbelieve in God, it is possible to be a theist or atheist in addition to an agnostic. Agnostics don't believe it is possible to prove the existence of God (nor lack thereof). You do NOT have to listen to Agnostic Front to be an agnostic.Agnosticism is a philosophy that God's existence cannot be proven. Some say it is possible to be agnostic and follow a religion; however, one cannot be a devout believer if he or she does not truly believe.

My Interests

Life in general is pretty interesting. Specific things in my life that interest me or that I seek out include: my children, dinner and drinks with interesting people, listening to worthwhile music, experimental cooking, discussion and contemplation of conspiracy theories, live rock shows, Oakland Raiders (RAIDER NATION) football, LA Kings Hockey (Where the fuck is Bruce McNall?), LA Lakers Basketball, Oakland Athletics Beisbol. Documentaries, History (American and otherwise), I also enjoy designing, installing and repairing consumer electronics and tinkering with do-it-yourself home improvement projects. Anything that gives my grey matter some new stimuli or gets my hands dirty.

I'd like to meet:

In no particular order: A sane well adjusted female, schizoprenics who believe they are GOD or Jesus or any other supreme power, Iggy Pop, Neil Armstrong, Tesco Vee, Robert Deniro, Charles Barkley, Seth MacFarlane, Bill Gates, Nelson Mandela, Nick Nolte, Bill Clinton, George Clinton, Mike Judge, the Dalai Lama, random insane winos, Charles Manson, Chuck Berry, Michael Moore, Keith Richards, Lawrence Taylor, Gary Busey, Henry Rollins, Al Pacino, Christopher Walken, Wayne Gretzky, Kenny Stabler, Hank Aaron, Jim Brown, Howard Stern, Quentin Tarentino, Johnny Lydon, Jimmy Carter, Mikhail Gorbachev, Exene Cervenka, OJ Simpson (so I could go LAPD...Rodney King style), Yo Greasy Ass Mama

Why don't you check it out? Or we cut off your Johnson! "The Big Lebowski f*cking short version"

Music:

IS THE BEST THING EVER. If you are passionate, true and write your own music, I normally dig your tuneage regardless of genre. If you have to work on your choreography, worry about mid-set costume changes or rely on your producer the way that Woody Allen relies on his therapist, chances are I will think you suck. Some bands that make me happy: The Clash, Sex Pistols, Angry Samoans, Black Flag, D.O.A., Circle Jerks, X, Social D, Decry, Dead Kennedys, Flipper, M.D.C., Minor Threat, Descendents, Husker Du, T.S.O.L., Terveet Kadet, Exploited, G.B.H., NOFX, Raw Power, Bad Religion, Toxic Reasons, 7 Seconds, JFA, Agent Orange, Channel 3, Adolescents, Dead Boys, Sham 69, MC5, The Stooges, Discharge, Plasmatics, Fear, Faction, Meatmen, Mentors, Misfits, Naked Raygun, L.A.'s Wasted Youth, R.K.L., Poison Idea, Ramones, S.N.F.U., Suicidal Tendencies, The Damned, Youth Brigade, Cheap Trick, Sonic Youth, the Fixx, Oingo Boingo, Concrete Blonde, L7, The Cure, Peter Murphy, Lords of the New Church, Bob Mould, Sugar, Smithereens, Bauhaus, Christian Death, Verbal Abuse, Slayer, Sepultura, Exodus, Venom, Pre-black album Metallica, D.R.I., C.O.C., Jane's Addiction, Chili Peppers, Fishbone, Faith-No-More, Ministry, LARD, Primus, Dramarama, Goo Goo Dolls, Gin Blossoms, Mr. Bungle, Joe Strummer and the Mescaleros. Hank III, Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Drive-By Truckers, the Blasters, the Knitters, Tom Waits, The Ventures, Dick Dale, Jimi Hendrix, The Doors, The Kinks, CCR, Pink Floyd, early Stones, David Bowie, T-Rex, Sweet, Rush, Run DMC, Public Enemy, NWA, Ice T, Ice Cube, Dr. Dre, Snoop, Prince, Marvin Gaye, Al Green, James Brown, P-Funk, Carl Perkins, Buddy Holly, Jerry Lee Lewis, Chuck Berry, (maybe your band appears here some day....)

Movies:

I like movies, but only certain ones and at certain times. I usually start watching a movie really late and fall asleep most of the time. If a movie manages to keep my interest for its duration, it is normally pretty good by my estimation.
Kubrick good..Coppola good..Scorsese good..Tarentino good..Farrelly Brothers funny..Ollie Stone mostly good..Stephen King..sometimes good..Not an all-inclusive list of flicks I dig: The Big Lebowski, Sin City, The Godfather, Scarface, Blow, American Beauty, Boondock Saints, The Departed, Apocalypse Now, Full Metal Jacket, Mystic River, any Dirty Harry flick, Escape from New York, Mad Max, The Road Warrior, Kalifornia, Deer Hunter, 48 Hours, Pulp Fiction, The Waterboy, Joe Dirt, Kingpin, The Usual Suspects, Bull Durham, Animal House, Caddyshack, The Breakfast Club, Fast Times at Ridgemont High, The Hunger, From Dusk 'til Dawn, Nightmare on Elm Street, The Wall, American Hardcore, Decline of the Western Civilization, Another State of Mind, Repo Man, Suburbia, Office Space, Young Frankenstein, National Lampoon's Vacation, Wizard of OZ, History of the World Part 1, Kentucky Fried Movie, Four Rooms.

Television:

I don't really waste my time with TV. I like wasting my time other ways. If I happen to be trapped in a room with only a TV, my viewing would likely be one or more of the following: sports, true crime shit, music videos, Family Guy, Cheers, Married with Children, The Simpsons, The Flintstones, Beavis and Butthead, Gilligan's Island, The Sopranos, OZ, Six Feet Under, History Channel, Discovery Channel, ESPN, VH1 Classic, Comedy Central, Disney Channel (a necessity with kids) MOST REALITY TV IS NOT, AND MOST OF IT SUCKS (Howard Stern's SIRIUS radio show is a lot more entertaining than 99% of the garbage on TV)

Books:

Anything Poe, Neitsche, Kafka, Camus, Sartre, or Dostoevsky..Siddhartha..Helter Skelter (no one writes a romance novel like that Charlie Manson), Does Hustler count as a book?

Heroes:

My Children, Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Mohandas Gandhi, Albert Einstein, Thomas Jefferson, Genghis Khan, Chuck Berry, Franklin Roosevelt, Jackie Robinson, Larry Flynt, guys named Cassius who change their name, J.F.K., The poor bastards who die in wars that our government puts them in and even the ones who stay alive. The guy below inspires me in many ways..
