About Me

I'm always up for a good ska show. Anyone interested, just let me know.

Here's my list of ska legends I've been able to see over the past few years.
The Skatalites
Toots and the Maytals
The Specials
The English Beat
The Toasters
Fishbone
and ska-core/ska-punk legends
The Mighty Mighty Bosstones (fav band, seen them many a time)
Mustard Plug
MU330
Motor City Ska Fest 2006, probably the greatest single ska show I've seen with Mustard Plug, The Parka Kings, Gangster Fun, and Deals Gone Bad. Hoping next year will include The Exceptions!

I've now got a new favorite local band. The Phonetics have been able to "Pick It Up" from where The Exceptions, Parka Kings, and Ganster Fun left off. It's about time the underground started skankin' again!

I am 79% Ska.
.. Pick it up, I skank! I am one full-fledged crazy Rudie, I am going to go celebrate my victory with some skankin'! Take the
