I'm from L dot A dot, Cali-forn-i-a, hot days got shade, let me take you around my way. A lot of out of towners can't handle this city, where you wear the wrong color and it can get tricky. But that was '86 and things done changed, we're alot more evolved with the way that we bang. Not the 'Rips or the Dogs, man, the smog might kill ya but you ain't gotta worry if your stayin' north of Wilshire. Don't be scared of Crenshaw, the Slauson Supermall, or Earl's Hot Dogs, man, you gotta do it y'all. Come to the hood where we do the most good and Majic Johnson be ownin' everthing like he should. Lynwood, Long Beach, Hawthorne, Gardena, from the towers in Watts the the hills in Alta Dena. The home of the traffic and that gangbang culture and I hope the way we do the damn thing don't insulst ya. I'm from L.A., Southern California fool, the West Coast, where everybody is somebody and the game is fame, do everything with a bang and everybody wanna know, what set you claim. The land where the '64s hop up and get low, your favorite rapper's getting jacked for more than his sick flows. Home of the pornos, we mess up award shows and the weather always warm so the women wear short clothes. Our beaches ain't the cleanest but our b!tch*$ are the queenest and we got the blond bombshells and thick latinas! The mixed and the light skinned, dark skinned sistas, where you never have to wear your triple goose on Christmas. You can miss us with the winters and the blizzards, the hurricanes, bless us with sunglasses and actresses, perfect frames. Silicone or real, it really don't matter if she paid for it. Every single trend, you can probably thank L.A. for it. Bandanas, face lifts, quick trips to Vegas, white T-shirts, Chuck Taylors or them K-Swiss. Poplockin', cripwalkin', chronic blunts G-funk. A place everybody hates but you gotta see once! L.A. ~ MURSI'm pretty much a dork and not afraid to admit it. Knowing is half the battle and if I admit it first, you can't make fun of me. Althogh, I often set myself up to be made fun of but that's because if you laugh at me, it's a good bet that I'm already laughing at myself. Misery loves company but I don't enjoy IT'S company so I do all I can to see the brighter side of things. Even if I'm not happy I'm trying to crack some kind of joke. I'm sarcastic, dry-humored, and some people think I'm a bit of a horses ass but they don't know me very well. I'm a friend to many and sometimes that makes me a bad friend because I don't always call, I don't always respond to my text messeges, and I don't always hang out. I love sushi, soju and beer... together in that order. Seperately, beer would come befor the sushi. Next is music, gotta have it, all kinds. I have a very eclectic and LARGE record collection consisting of 1920s Big Band, jazz, Instermentals, Wierd Shit that just doesn't really fit into a catagory, MoTown soul and R&B, rock 'n roll, Nu-Wave, hip-hop and Jungle Drum&Bass and I listen to it all. I dig cars, scars and chick with tattoos. If you look like you just stepped out of a 1940s time warp and can pull it off (some people can't) that's cool, if you don't, that's cool too. Cool is being you, whoever you are and letting others be themselves as well, that's cool. I don't care if I don't grease my hair every day and your boyfriend does, or your car is older than mine, you have full sleeves and I'm "almost there". At the end of the day I'm cool cuz I'm not dropping big buck on hair grease just to "look" cool, my '66 is fun to drive and still get respect from LOTS of people and every one of my tattoos has meaning. Respect due to all krews catching wreck! All vandals and ex-vandals making money off the man! Keep getting comic book deals and action figures made in your likeness... keep writing and illustrating childrens books (I'll buy 'em for my daughter!) As for now, I just live... nada mucho. Work, sleep and work again. I live vicariously through others. I've put in enough, now I'm down to sit back and watch. Don't get me wrong, my hands aren't clean, but I wash them often!
