Interests........well I have many but it seems whenever I come to this kind of section in any profile I have to write I swear I just seem to have no interests all of a sudden! lol, its the record store phenomenon. That is, whenever you aren't in a record store you can think of a couple dozen disks you would want, but get to a record store and you draw a total blank, can't think of one single disk you want to purchase!Know what I mean? That being said....Interests......Photography. Videography. (Yes there is some vids coming) Art. Long nails. Not on me, but on others. The online community I identify with most and have done alot of work for refers to these specail women as LNBs short for Long Nail Beauties. Cooking. Yes I cook and am pretty damn good at it. Willing to share receipes as well. If you are a foodie lets talk. Traveling. Now that doesn't mean I am wealthy and I travel all the time. I wish. I do travel alot for work but that is way different then traveling for enjoyment, but I have been more places then your average person. For now I think that will have to do. Hope that helped.
I will say that I like many kinds of music but country does nothing for me. Nothing at all. Unless you are talking about those that break out of the country mold, Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, Hank Williams and the like. Otherwise my general sensibilities are for good old rock and roll. A good dose of Alternative as well as Punk bands. Alice Donut is mym all time favorite but I can understan why people might not get their twisted view and odd ball lyrics, but who can't love a band that has a love song to Linda Blair when she was in the Excorist? Or a love song to Joan of Arc? I use to work for a music magazine, a regional rag, and did concerts reviews and photography and went to the first three Lalapoolzas on a press pass which was awesome. (Jeez, am I dating myself here?) On the rock side, Neil Young will always be a perpetual favorite. On a lighter note if you haven't ever heard of Michael Hedges he is amazing and a person taken from us all too young. Fugazi and Nine Inch Nails are awesome. Bob Dylan, The Grateful Dead and The Beatles always work when I don't know what I want to listen too. The most recent Ozzy cd tells me he is stil relevant. Led Zepplin will always be the icon of all rock bands and for good reason. I suggest you take a listen to Morphine "Like Swimming" which is a fabulous album. That will do for now but if you were trying to figure out what I liked there is a taste of it.
Have you seen Harold and Maude? If not you should.
Orson Scott Card is amazing.
