About Me

We have been teaching nail technicians how to use Inverted Moulds for over 10 years here in the United Kingdom. But what are they?
Simply put Inverted Moulds are:
‘A method of applying liquid and powder acrylics to the natural nail.’
Instead of putting your L&P onto the nail and then sculpting it, you put the L&P ‘Into’ the Inverted Mould. As you can see from our video’s the acrylic can be easily sculpted into many different designs before it hardens and we can even mix glitter into the acrylics to create some amazing designs.
Once you have sculpted your design, you apply ‘pink’ L&P to the Inverted Mould (IM for short) and while the pink is still ‘wet’ you apply the extension. You don’t use ANY glues or resins with this system because the pink L&P bonds to the natural nail underneath and the IM above.
That’s right, the IM chemically bonds with the L&P acrylic. This means your finished extension has a very thin (IM’s are as thin as a human hair) clear, glossy finish, which actually helps protect the extension drastically reducing breakages.
This tough exterior ‘shell’ also means NO BUFFING is needed.
