DON'T BE MISLED BY THE NAME: the bukkakers are a foursome djs, vjs, sweatloverbydancing coming from the Ananas Free Republic. The name sounds funny enough and deals with the idea of spreading entertainment and dance culture and fighting against wankers style of life. Let's dance in the mid of the dancefloor, not by the wall. Twist your body, shake your coconuts, not just keeping the time with your feet. We mix everything goes under our drrty hands: LickingElectroSexySoundhouSetNuOpenPUnkRavEPhunKHolyHymns except from the minimal which we love in our own room, but not in the middle of a without-inhibition-party. The motto of our party is: Less Discretion, More Sweat (this statement does rhyme in italian, but who cares, the meaning is quite clear). Our cultural background goes from the Ninja Turle till the 8 bit Nintendo, we're the dump of the '80&'90&'00 and we recycle all the worst and the best in our eclectic playlist. Unico obiettivo: far ballare. Già, ballare. Ballare in mezzo alla pista, non accanto al muro. Dimenarsi con tutto il corpo, non battere il piede a tempo. Il tutto al ritmo della migliore elettronica da club, non quella che si ascolta da soli in camera, che comunque i Bukkakers amano e rispettano. Perchè c'è un tempo per l'introspezione e uno per la socializzazione. Non a caso il motto delle serate sarà “Meno Pudore, più Sudore”: tempo di abbandonare le inibizioni e lasciarsi andare. Se il loro background culturale spazia dalle tartarughe Ninja ai calzini in spugna arrotolati alle caviglie passando per il Nintendo 8 bit, quello musicale vanta trascorsi tanto nella classica quanto nell’hardcore. Questo, sentenziano i tre, giustifica una playlist eclettica: il meglio (?) dell’elettronica anni ’80 e primi ’90 ben frullata con la minimal, il punk funk e l’electroclash degli ultimi anni. Un tetris sonoro a cui va aggiunta la dimensione visiva del vj set con i video realizzati da Altree, collettivo di videomakers fortunatamente sconosciuto al grande pubblico, e mixati dai Bukkakers con lo scopo di creare un’esperienza totalizzante tra musica e immagine. Due gli ospiti d’onore: le telecamere di Al Jazeera per quella che già si preannuncia una performance esplosiva e Mister T, incosciente sostenitore del duo, con il Mister T Project point, progetto che prevede molte cose, tutte estremamente oscure. Quindi, ben tonificati e idratati – non crederete mica di stare fermi? – venite numerosi: sicuramente i Bukkakers regaleranno qualche perla di cui vi ricorderete a lungo.
