You can't put a cute spin on "wolfpack"; if you stumble across one, prepare to walk away moved and changed, at best. It's only fitting then, that influential producer Ross Robinson claims the intent of his new label I Am: Wolfpack is "to rip and inspire!" Boasting an incomparably diverse resume (IDIOT PILOT, GLASSJAW, THE CURE, NORMA JEAN, THE BLOOD BROTHERS, AT THE DRIVE-IN, KORN, SLIPKNOT), the super-producer has joined forces with former WMC Mortgage CEO Amy Brandt, and ex-FROM FIRST TO LAST vocalist Sonny Moore to launch this exciting new exercise in depth.Robinson and Brandt — who will act as CEO and handle the day-to-day business side of the label — are both desert rats who bonded over their lifelong appreciation for dirt bikes. While Robinson will be producing and signing new talent, Moore will help out on the A&R side, scouting new talent and overseeing his own imprint on the label.I Am: Wolfpack's first release will be BLACK LIGHT BURNS, fronted by former LIMP BIZKIT guitarist Wes Borland. Longtime NINE INCH NAILS accomplice Danny Lohner produced and performs on the debut, "Cruel Melody", to be released June 5, distributed by Adrenaline/ADA. BLACK LIGHT BURNS will make its live debut at the NARM Convention on April 30.
