Well lets see. Im a completely open mided person. I just hate when people feel its necessary to force feed their twisted logic down your throat, This means you Neo-Conservatives and Evangelical Christians. I really try not hate on peoples ideas but I truly hate those two groups of people. There is nothing they could possibly say for me to accept them. Now don't get me confused with a Liberal either. I'm neither. I believe for Democracy to survive there needs to be an understanding that people need to take ideas from both sides and not just lean toward one political machine, Cos' the Far Left is no better than the Neo-Cons. Lets talk Musak shall we. I like a wide variety of music, except for rap, and I'll get to that in a minute. I totally dig old school Rockabilly, Swing, Alternative. I don't really dig new music cos its all recycled, and not really anything to get excited about. Now here's an example why I don't like rap; Its this generation's 80s hair metal. Lets face it, all that is sung about is flaunting money and women. Pretty much the same thing those cheesy metal bands did in the 80s. My point is this. Rap started out as music from streets. Music that reflected life in the projects, a black punk rock if you like. I work in Jersey City, in some of the shittiest and hardest projects. And I gotta say what's being sung today does not reflect life in Jersey City, Paterson, Newark, even Orange. I think there are only two real groups out there. The Roots and Jurassic 5, they're keeping it old school. What else, umm, I was in the Army for about 6 years. Everyone asks me why I didn't stay in. Well, after war everything else seems pointless. You reached the pinnacle of your career. Theres nothing else. Plus the risk of deploying back, out weighed everything else. I love when people say they'd go back over. Well, they're fucking lying, playing for the camera is all. After getting out I kinda just drank alot, Looking back on it I really think I had PSTD. I'm passed that now. Now I just focus on getting my house in order. Its just me and my sister. I divide my time by work, ballroom dancing(there's a kick ass 18 piece Big Band that plays) going running and working around the house. I know its not that exciting but fuck it. There comes a time when you grow up and say "Let me just take life one day at a time and see what happens" Now I could go on and give my logical view on religion or why the war in Iraq went completly to shit, but, my Myspace page would be nothing but writing. So I invite you to ask me. Remember, with all the shitty things going on around the world, maybe, just maybe it might not have come to this if some people stood up and just asked.
