Nee-He
"Symphaty for the Devil", Nee-He @ 't Groene Woud, 12-07-'08
Biography:
Started as “CJ Nauw†in 2000, when 4 colleagues working at the KLM started to jam.
Simply with a couple of nice old rock songs whom they all like to play.
It even resulted in a gig at the 80 years celebration of the KLM.
However a half year later it was over.
A couple of years later, Rick and Ernst found each other again in Superimposium, a rock band from Sassemheim. After Superimposium fell apart they decide to restart the “KLM-band†again in the mid of 2004.
Now under the name “Nee-He†in a somewhat different line-up and even with the add of a non-KLM colleague.
They started to rehearse on playing covers and even made some own songs in the same style, rock and some blues from the sixties and seventies.
As from end 2004 they had a gig every month and with success.
Beginning 2006 they decided to take a break from gigging to practice new repertoire.
Now Nee-He has a considerable number of nice varied songs which they set loss in several sets. A mix of well-known and less-known songs of which you will say: “Nee-He†that was a long time ago I heard that song.
Rick and Ernst put down a nice tight and swinging basis, where Ad and Roel fill the whole thing with their melodic guitar playing and some necessary guitar explosions. Gerben finish it off not only with its rough rock voice but also with his vigorous presentation with which he gets everyone dancing.
Nee-He exists of:
Gerben - vocal
Ad - guitar
