Overview
Michael creates dense, wistful compositions verging on ambient, post-rock, jazz and trip-hop. These songs began as experiments and outlets for creativity, but recently there has been a push towards a focused, polished product. This output has resulted in self-contained, finished compositions which are at the same time looser and less constrained by any particular genre of sound.
Having recently graduated from Hamilton, Ontario, Canada's McMaster University with a Honours BA in Multimedia and Japanese Studies, Michael is planning on relocating to Japan, at least for a little while, to work and hopefully continue to study the language and make music.
