Friends - old & new, and anyone who shares similar interests.
I enjoy hearing music throughout my day & try to listen with variety – folk, reggae, acoustic rock, classic rock, vintage country, & so on. I am extremely sensitive to music & can be brought to tears (embarrassingly) easily. I'd never make it through an opera. I love great song writers – Kurt Cobain, Tori Amos, Joni Mitchel, Ani DiFranco, Johnny Lang, James Taylor, Johnny Cash, & many more. I LOOOVE my iPod!
I love film & I'll watch anything once. I like stuff that kind of...disturbs you, wakes you up a little bit. I've been watching High Fidelity, 50 First Dates, & The Wizard of Oz a lot lately.
TV is awful, but I do watch Nip/Tuck & reruns of Weeds & Dharma & Greg on occassion.
I love to read! I'm currently reading everything. I love adbusters.
I respect so many fine folks! Of course Buddha, His Holiness the Dali Lama, Mary Magdalene, Noah Levine (author of Dharma Punx), Ina May Gaskin (famous midwife & author of Spiritual Midwifery & Ina May’s Guide to Childbirth), & all strong, intelligent women, feminists, & midwives. I also respect anyone with the smarts to do their own research on current issues & think for themselves, & anyone willing to take a stand for what is right & good.
