I’m 24, tattooed, Buddhist, & Virgo. I’m kind of a hippie, & a complete jeans & t-shirt girl. I'm a student of life & a free-lance bum. As a Buddhist, I focus a lot on working past attachments and judgments in my life. It isn’t always easy, & I use positivity, an open mind, and meditation to guide me where I can. I believe personal responsibility & motivation for personal growth are healthy & necessary for everyone.
I am usually only moderately talkative in social settings, but I feel deeply creative and passionate beneath the surface. I’m an “idea person,†& I love to make things & create “art;†mostly funky little shrines & collages. I sew a little & do embroidery, & I would LOVE to learn how to spin yarn & weave on one of those huge looms! I also frequently write in journals & use tarot to sort emotions & help make life decisions.
I have been a vegetarian since I was about 9 and would like to work into a mostly raw foods, vegan diet in the near future. I love shopping at health food stores – they smell awesome! I’m learning to enjoy working out, but I really love the mellow stuff, like just walking or hiking (I love camping out!) & doing yoga. If I do yoga just once a week, my practice flows into all the areas of my life. It’s great! I love to read & collect books, & I frequently spend time drinking coffee while scouring bookstores, especially when it’s rainy out. Yard “sailing†& thrifting are my favorite weekend activities. I collect old glass bottles in every color, & faeries, & I’m kind of drawn to anything retro & gaudy, the more ridiculous the better. I'm also building an embarrassingly massive t-shirt collection. I’m an animal-lover & I have a special weakness for the feline persuasion. We have four cats with very different, very distinct personalities, & they make me laugh every day. I spoil them regularly & consider them my "babies," having chosen to live free from the obligation of raising children. I like cleanliness – I actually enjoy organizing stuff & creating neat, fresh spaces in my home that feel sacred & restful. I like plants, flowers, & gardening – my house is full of GREEN, which is also my favorite color :)
